Transformed Mid Century Modern Spaces

Cedar Hills, OR
Residential

Not all homes are built with a design plan that makes sense for years to come. The goal for this project was to transform an odd space that housed both a washer/dryer, a toilet (and inexplicably an exterior door) and an outdated and underutilized primary bath into- ideally- 3 separate spaces.

Careful design to carve out each individual space, breathe back the mid century modern charm of the home and infuse color, texture and thoughtful lighting into the rooms restored and reinvented previously unusable spaces. Adding in a slat wall found in many homes of this time created privacy in the primary bath while a playful tile layout in the secondary bathroom added a fun design detail.

FAVORITE DETAIL: The matching vertical texture detail on the vanity to match the slat wall in the primary bath!
